MS Quantitative Finance

The new Master of Science in Quantitative Finance is a unique two-year degree program developed as a collaboration between the departments of Mathematics and Finance at Texas A&M University. The goal of the program is to provide students with expertise in high-demand sectors of the financial labor market, including

  • Risk Management;
  • Quantitive Investing;
  • Model Development.
Only a small number of the financial industry workforce has the quantitative skills required to succeed in these jobs, giving our graduates an enormous competitive advantage on the job market. In addition, it also serve as a preparation for a PhD in Finance.

This is an alternative program to the Stem-to-Stocks Master of Science in Finance (MSF), currently offered by the Department of Finance at Texas A&M University. Graduates from the MSF program are heavily recruited for the most attractive entry-level finance positions.
